The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk continues their summer concert series with the original boogie-rock band, Foghat. Formed in 1971 in the United Kingdom, Foghat rocketed to international stardom on their bluesy rock sound dominated by electric slide guitar. Throughout the 1970's they achieved eight gold records, one platinum, and one double platinum record, and scored numerous hits, including "Slow Ride," "Fool for the City," and "I Just Want to Make Love to You."
