Fresh off his third Grammy win, Oakland's Fantastic Negrito comes to KQED for a mix of music and interview with the hosts of "Forum".
Since winning NPR's inaugural Tiny Desk Concert in 2015, Fantastic Negrito has gone on to take home Grammy awards for Best Contemporary Blues Album in three separate years. But joining the long line of Bay Area Music success stories didn't come fast or easy for this son of Oakland.
Hosts Mina Kim and Alexis Madrigal will team up for a special evening taping of "Forum", where interview will be woven with an intimate musical performance to bring the narrative to life.
$15 - In Person, Free - Livestream.
Presented by KQED Live.
