Film Showing of "Berta Vive" about Indigenous Rights Defender Berta Caceres

BERTA VIVE recounts the murder of environmentalist and Lenca leader Berta Cáceres which shook the world on March 2, 2016. Mexican activist Gustavo Castro, a witness to the crime, survived the horror that night only to become trapped in Honduras.

Following the film there will be a Q & A with well known Honduran Director Katia Lara and Milton Benítez, Assistant Director and Chief Investigator. (BERTA VIVE is a 30 minute documentary short film)
