Everyone’s invited to the Arts Day Festival sponsored by the city of El Cerrito Arts & Culture Commission. This indoor/outdoor festival will celebrate the arts with activities for kids and adults. Kids can enjoy puppet shows, sidewalk chalk drawing and crafts activities. Adults will enjoy film screenings, poetry readings, crafts activities and an artist’s talk in the City Hall Gallery. Adding to the fun will be exhibits from El Cerrito’s Playland-Not-At-Beach. The Del Mars will play lively surf music and two trios will perform classical chamber music. In addition there will be a photography workshop. The event is free. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
