dj poolboi is the moniker of Austin Texas' resident Adam Ansley. In 2017 Ansley started quietly releasing lo-fi house music mixing elation, nostalgia and melancholy to create something raw in beauty, calming, energizing and uplifting.
Residing in the same vein of underground house as Ross From Friends and Baltra while building on the experimental dance music of trailblazers such as Radiohead, Four Tet, Caribou and Jamie XX his music found its own niche taking flight online.
With a strong visual presence from his many music videos, poolboi has quickly amassed a large following online landing coveted gigs across North America opening for acts like Ross From Friends, DJ Seinfeld, Park Hye Jin, Chaos In the CBD and more.

As just that happened one life-altering night in Mainz, Germany Chris entered a new cosmos called the "rave" and never walked out on it since. Feeling the urge to support the scene, Luno held residences in the Netherlands, while studying the subject of Media Management meticulously. This led him to be picked up by the illustrious duo Tube & Berger and their labels Kittball and ZEHN Records. This is where he quickly began to level up his own production skills and DJ game.
In 2019, Chris started his YouTube mix series and was able to pick up a hefty amount of 50 million views since then. A collaboration with deep house legends Tube & Berger followed, as well as international gigs, for example at the UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul, Turkey in 2023. Meanwhile, Chris is a full time touring artist and has played at prestigious venues all over the world including Phonique, Mexico City, Ulu Cliffhouse, Bali, Carbon, Hong-Kong, The Garrison, Montreal, Sage Beach, Berlin and many more.
His own productions received industry support by the likes of Diplo, Gorgon City, Nora en Pure, Claptone and summed up more than 10 million Spotify streams up to date. Furthermore, his music can be found on labels such as Anjunadeep, This Never Happened and Purified Records.
