Mr. Dibia$e is a legendary producer that originally hails from Watts, CA. A product of South LA’s infamous Project Blowed breeding grounds, he his known for his many projects that have dropped on labels such as Fat Beats and Alpha Pup as well as his own label known as 10 Thirty Records. Dibia$e is a staple in the beat scene as he is pretty much considered a pioneer and triple og to many who fancy the instrumental album game. His signature crunchy drums, swing and witty sample flips continue to influence multiple generations of young beatmakers to this day. He has won more beat battles than you can shake a stick at and is also a former Red Bull Big Tune regional champion. He has collaborated with other artists like Blu, Kardinal Offishall, Flying Lotus, Quelle Chris, MED, and Ras G to name a few and has toured around the world and back. He will surely provide nothing short of a myriad of neck breaking soundscapes on Aug. 4th.Sahtyre is an emcee out of Los Angeles who is also another product of South LA’s famed Project Blowed. Saht made a name for himself as a young up and coming battle rapper. Over time he moved up the ranks during the early stages of acapella battle rap while competing in several Grindtime and World Rap Championship battles. He would later leave the battle rap circuit to focus on putting out music. Known for his signature alternative/experimental sound, that has made him a budding star, he has since dropped projects like Saht, LSD, The Buddha, and just recently put out an LP on the Dragonfly sister label know as Liquid Sound Design titled “Cassidy Howell”. He has collaborated with the likes of Jarren Benton, Danny Brown, DAG SAVAGE, Open Mike Eagle and Dumbfoundead to name a few all while also touring the world while touching stages with most of your favorite rappers. He even performed with his collective known as Swim Team at Murs’ legendary Paid Dues event before they brought it to a halt some years ago. His stage presence will awe you when he brings his unique musical talents to Bar Fluxus.Spec is also a Los Angeles based artist who is an emcee/producer that also came out of Project Blowed during its finest years. This 2000Now producer has production credits with the likes of Skyzoo, Elzhi, Guilty Simpson, and Dilated Peoples and his sounds are sure to capture your attention when he blesses San Francisco with a beat set. He just might kick some bars for you all as well as he is an equally skilled rapper. Shoe Programm is a duo consisting of Vinyl Villains members Donel Smokes and Fifth P. One based in LA’s High Desert city Lancaster while Fifth P is based in Oakland. They collectively have won many beat battles in Oakland, San Francisco and LA while also garnering production credits with the likes of Lyricist Lounge emcee Wordsworth, Masta Ace, Planet Asia, Blu, and Akil from Jurrassic 5. They will be doing a joint beat set but will also perform some songs as well. Rob Young is an up and coming emcee from Seattle who is based in San Francisco. His skills on the mic, stage presence, and likable personality has garnered him the makings of a faithful fanbase as he embarks on his journey to completing his forthcoming lp titled “Forever Isnt Long Enough”. We anticipate that his live performance will be nothing short of electric.Born Historian is a producer born and raised in the East Bay’s Richmond, CA. His production has garnered him praise from many late night musical showcase go’ers and he has also won a bevy of beat battles including the bay area’s famed Today’s Future Sound battle. His eloquent soul sampling and low ended smooth grooves will be sure to compliment the evening.Pas Doo is our dj for the evening. Based out of Oakland, CA, he is sure to keep the evening running smoothly in the backdrop. Pas Doo is also a very accomplished producer in his own right while sporting productions credits with the likes of Mr Lif, Del The Funky Homosapien, Pep Love, and has credits on the forthcoming Perceptionists lp that is slated to drop on the Mello Music Group label later this year.Jayem will be our host for the night and he also goes by the name Joe Mousepad.
