Dave Baisa isn't just the lead singer for San Jose punk-mod trio the Odd Numbers, he's also a show promoter-or at least an acoustic show promoter. This Wednesday he's gathering up a whole bunch of local talent to do acoustic-only sets: Chris Landon (Dirty Odd Seven, Shovelhead), Derek See (The Bang), Paul Kimball & John Blatchford (Careless Hearts and Doctor Nurse respectively-playing songs from their new band the Sisters Brothers), Ray Stevens II (RS2 Solid Sound, Los Olvidados, Clay Wheels), Dover (Whiskey Sunday), Bry Caughey (4-Banger) and Steve Laflen (Them Slack Jawed Sons of Bitches). Baisa will of course be playing a set of his own tunes. Saxophonist Mike Belardes will be joining some of the musicians during their sets. (Aaron Carnes)
