Jay Vance has been enslaved by hostile robots, renamed JBOT and forced to tour the world in their insane all-robot hard-rock band. That is Captured By Robot's story, anyway. The bandmembers, though, really are robots (well, except for Vance). And there are a lot of robots at work. There's a guitarist/bassist, a drummer, a second drummer, a tambourine-playing robot ape, a second robot ape and three headless horn players. And they hate people (except the ape robots for some reason). If that isn't weird enough, they're currently on their "Tripping Balls" tour, and they will be adding psychedelics, a crazy light show and lots of questioning-of-reality material into the mix. Watching human-hating robots explore the human mind should be an interesting way to spend a Friday night.
