Californicorns Album Release Party

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Californicorns
https://www.californicorns.com

Original and throwback. Shredded gnar and sultry croon. Californicorns blend classic American genres (Surf. Soul. Funk. Rock & Roll.) with a contemporary twist. The songs are eclectic, climbing a wall of sound to a big sweaty dance party, filled with slow-dance-with-your-boo jams and get-your-ass-off-the-wall bangers.

Californicorns origins trace back to 2009 when they formed as a minimalist surf rock quartet playing as the resident house band for the San Francisco-based theater, PianoFight. As the years went by, they added singers, a keyboard player, and a horn core made up of Cal Marching Band alumni. In 2014, they released their debut EP, Surf. Soul. Party., and followed it up in 2017, with a full length, Warm Oakland Nights. Since then, they've played all over California, and hosted a yearly New Years Eve Party (not to be missed). Their second full length album, Scratchers and Donuts, will be released in 2023.
