MONOGRAMISTA T.D. (born as Dezider Tóth in 1947) is one of the most important representatives of Slovak art. Considered “the father of Slovak conceptual art”, his art work ranges from the performance, installation, bookmaking to painting, object and minimalist intervention.

His work PARTITURAS (1976-1978) attracted Slovak composers and intermedia artists Fero Kiraly and Ivan Siller. Partituras is a series of ink drawings strongly resembling music scores. Until now, it has never been musically reinterpreted.

BON JOUR MONOGRAMISTA T.D. is the name given to the live performance. Kiraly and Siller, along with local artists, reinterpreted various parts of PARTITURAS through music, dance, sound-art and spoken word.

In 2015, the project was performed throughout Europe in Poland, Germany, Denmark, UK, Norway, Slovakia and Austria.

THE PROJECT IS SUPPORTED BY MINISTRY OF CULTURE OF SLOVAK REPUBLIC.
