Bella Sunday!: Americano Social Club and Beaucoup Chapeaux

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at The Emerald Tablet (see times)
An afternoon of la dolce vita awaits in you North Beach! Drawing from the irresistible melodies of Europe’s streets and San Francisco’s eclectic soundscapes, your musical hosts Americano Social Club and Beaucoup Chapeaux are ready to play the soundtrack for your beautiful lazy afternoon of song, wine and laughter in the company of good friends (old and just met). “Bella Sundays” are the best Sundays, and we invite you to spend this one with us!

—About the music—
Part Parisian Bistro or Italian Cafe, part circus, the Hot Club of France in the wilds of Macedonia with Piaf singing in Greek while dancing tango, well-worn songs antique and modern all re-imagined for you to fall in love with all over again! Both of these groups play a mix of passionate original works and romantic and eclectic melodies from all over the world to make music that is undeniably eccentric, completely joyful, and altogether gorgeous.

San Francisco’s Americano Social Club is led by Michael Zisman on mandolin and features guitarist Jason Vanderford and bassist Joe Kyle Jr.

Nevada City’s Beaucoup Chapeaux is led by Maggie McKaig on guitar, vocals and accordion, and features Luke P. Wilson on stringed instruments, Murray Campbell on violin and oboe, and Randy McKean on clarinet and saxophones.

2:30 pm doors, 3 pm show.
$15 suggested donation, sliding scale. Nobody turned away for lack of funds.
Door donations go to the musicians! Delicious complimentary food. Drinks by donation.
