Balanced Breakfast presents the BreakFEST after-party at Balboa Theater in the Outer Richmond of San Francisco. Tickets are donation-based, come enjoy the theater's outdoor seating, snacks, sodas, and alcohol. Attendees are encouraged to donate and will have ways to vote for the winning music video.
You are about experience pure music video madness! On October 31st, names will be/were drawn out of a hat 5 at a time to create new bands at random. The five drawn names are now a band. Five drummers? A band. Two acapella singers, a ukulelist, and a death metal guitarist? A band. Two bassists, a bassoonist, and a guy who has never played a show in his life? A band.
The newly-formed bands, with members from cities around the world, will have had one month to write, rehearse, and record a 10-minute music video filled with original music. As we are social distancing the bands can not meet in person. This creates a new social predicament of how did the band's practice and record? The band that solves this pandemic problem the best wins!!!
The videos will be shown virtually at DNA. This show will be recorded then aired in Balboa Theater's outdoor parklet for your pleasure.
