These Altruism benefit shows have been going on for years, bringing together the Bay Area music scene in support of one of their own. Unfortunately, this isn't the first benefit for Giselle Ayala, who's facing her third battle with cancer. Fortunately, many have rallied to her side. The artists spinning include local house DJs Rick Preston, Harry Who? and Arturo Garces, plus out-of-towner DJs Galen, Garth and Jeno. Live bands include the recently resurrected 880 South, singer-songwriter Yvette Young and SF electronic psych band Ownership.
