World music guitar pioneer Matthew Montfort is known as leader of the seminal world fusion music band Ancient Future and has been recognized as one of the world's 100 greatest acoustic guitarists. Mark Kostrzewa is well known in the Northern California acoustic guitar scene for his coastal-inspired progressive finger-picking originals. Steve Baughman is well known from several CD's for his melodic fingerstyle guitar, drawing upon Celtic, Appalachian, and various ethnic and folk traditions and has five books to his credit with Mel Bay Publications.
