2nd Annual Oakland's Sing-Along Messiah

Join us for this wonderful holiday tradition! Arts Under the Spire concert series is hosting Annual Sing-Along Messiah. We will be led by professional musicians and soloists, among them acclaimed Friction Quartet. All who would like to sing and/or hear Handel's masterpiece and celebrate Christmas by experiencing Messiah are invited to join us for this event.

We will sing the Christmas portion of Handel's oratorio and the Hallelujah chorus, and hear the performance of recitatives and arias by a chamber orchestra with Friction Quartet, harpsichord, trumpets and drums and some of the finest Bay area singers: Melody Christian, Alexis Lane Jensen, Nick Rattray and Ben Kazez.
