Refinery29 is expanding the celebrated franchise with a San Francisco exhibition. A festival of style, culture, and technology, 29Rooms brings 29 interactive spaces to life in collaboration with global artists, visionaries, meaningful causes, and brands.
29Rooms captivates audiences in both physical and digital worlds with its immersive storytelling experience designed for discovery, creativity, social sharing and social good. The inaugural San Francisco festival will include some of the most popular installations from this year’s New York and Los Angeles events, along with new collaborators.
“For the past four years we’ve been igniting creativity, sparking dialogue, and daring people to dream bigger with 29Rooms in New York and Los Angeles,” said Piera Gelardi, Executive Creative Director and co-founder of Refinery29. “Now, we couldn’t be more excited to come to San Francisco, a city known for its innovation, eclectic nature, and progressive mindset. The rich artistic history of the Palace of Fine Arts makes it the perfect setting to showcase the work of incredible global creators and bring our creative vision to life.”
Attendees will have the chance to experience the festival for the first time in San Francisco, as Refinery29 brings its successful tour of “Turn It Into Art” to the city. The theme celebrates the transformative power of creativity and explores how art can alter mindsets, trigger emotions, and create powerful change. Each room is curated in partnership with a broad range of creators, talent, innovators, artists and brands, with the audience at the center of the event, sparking engagement and igniting a live social broadcast of self-expression, storytelling and meaningful dialogue.
