An Evening with Rolling Stone Photographer Baron Wolman

Meet the first Chief Photographer for Rolling Stone magazine, Baron Wolman, this Friday, October 19th, during a special event at Hotel Zeppelin. Ten of his original photographs will be on display and Wolman will lead an exclusive presentation of his work at the first Woodstock.

Wolman began working for Rolling Stone, starting with its first issue, published in 1967, and he continued in that job for another three years. Wolman’s portfolio of photographs includes a who’s who of rock legends: Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Iggy Pop, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Phil Spector, Jim Morrison, plus Ike & Tina Turner.

Attendees will be able to purchase cocktails, nibbles, and copies of Wolman’s new Instagram book, “My Generation.”

The event is free and open to the public.
