Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Announces Full 2017 Lineup

Today the organizers behind Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, a free October music festival in Golden Gate Park, revealed the full lineup for the 17th annual event. After a series of medleys to announce select acts, the complete list was unveiled and headlining this year are Randy Newman, Lucinda Williams, and Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys.

No tickets are needed for this BYOB music festival, which will have more than 50 food and drink vendors on-site. Over 90 live music acts will perform across seven stages throughout the weekend. Other noteworthy artists confirmed to play next month are Swedish indie folk duo First Aid Kit, Latino fusion group Ozomatli, singer-songwriters Patty Griffin and John Prine, New Orleans’ rapper and queen diva Big Freedia, and country vocalist Emmylou Harris. There will also be a silent disco stage on Saturday and Sunday with local DJs like Deejay Theory and Gordo Cabeza of the Motown on Mondays crew, among many others. See below for the complete lineup by day.

Last year saw performances by singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash, rock band Cake, and California rocker Chris Isaak.
