A recent national study says the effects of climate change are already being felt throughout the nation – and right here in California we know we are facing a near record drought, a hotter than expected summer and a looming deadline to meet energy goals to try and fight climate change today and protect California for generations to come.

Looking beyond this summer, we have just five and half years to go to reach ambitious energy goals that, when met, will help us meet our 2020 air emissions goals and help us to become a truly sustainable state.
