Napa Grandma Reviews BottleRock Festival
We recruited 78-year-old Napa resident Diana Mitchell (this writer’s grandmother) to review Napa’s BottleRock Festival for her first-ever rock concert.
Unofficially the oldest attendee at the event on Friday, she shares her thoughts on six of the bands that performed at BottleRock below:
Her day started with reggae, hip-hop vocalist Matisyahu:
“It didn’t seem like reggae to me. It seemed like rap, but I did get that reggae flavor. I think he had a good voice but not enough excitement for my first rock concert.”
