Salumeria Opens Second San Francisco Location

Building on its “restaurant empire” on 20th Street in San Francisco, the Ne Timeas Restaurant Group has opened the second Salumeria location in San Francisco, on the ground floor of the newly renovated Hamm’s Building.

The new space will share a lot of the features of the first spot on 20th Street, featuring a rotating menu from Thomas McNaughton and Ryan Pollnow, with artisanal sandwiches, salads, soups and antipasti. There will also be a unique selection of both local and imported meats and cheeses. Like the original location, Salumeria will focus on seasonally driven, fresh and local ingredients.

One new addition to the second Salumeria location – it will be debuting a breakfast program, featuring several items prepared both in-house and sourced from top spots in the city. The menu will also feature espresso drinks.

Under the direction of TMG Partners, a mixed-use property developer in the Bay Area, the Hamm’s Building has been remodeled to restore the brewery’s original aesthetic and charm. Because of the mixed-use nature of the building, you’ll see plenty of people from offices upstairs frequenting the space throughout the day. There is also a space on the 11th floor with a 360 -degree view of the surrounding area, which Salumeria hopes to use for special events.

Salumeria is located on the ground floor of the Hamm’s Building at 1550 Bryant Street and will be open from 7:00am – 7:00pm, Monday-Friday. Expect a beer and wine program to be introduced shortly as well, once a liquor license goes through.
