Opening Reception: New Works by HUSH
A unique artist from the UK shares his work that combines the practices of both street art and contemporary art.
The 3 Sirens (Dark)
On January 21, 941Geary will present a solo entitled “New Works by HUSH” which highlights the former graphic designer and illustrator’s latest pieces. Known for his mixed media paintings and in-depth technique, he combines both Eastern and Western art traditions and finds a way to communicate both serenity and action in his pieces. Geisha-like figures are depicted through spray paint, collage, screen printing and layers revealing the cultural and visual influences traveling throughout Asia, Europe and the United States has had on his work.
The event is free and the opening reception begins at 6pm.
