Theater: Killing My Lobster, Darrell Hammond, Opera in the Ballpark & More!

This week, the theater scene goes from Conquering the Galaxy to taking over AT&T field. Snag your seats now and don’t miss these new shows.

The adventure beings this Thursday, with Killing My Lobster Conquers the Galaxy. The sketch runs through October 9 and will feature bits on the Brit-com, Dr. Who, a mock TED Talk on a zombie apocalypse and much more hilarity.

Starting Friday, if you’re itchin’ for some quality stand-up, catch SNL’s ex-resident president (Clinton), Darrell Hammond, in a two night, four show run at Cobb’s.

Also this Friday, Steve Martin’s, The Underpants, premiers at the Gough Street Playhouse. Let’s just say things get pretty funny when a housewife’s unmentionable  fall down at a small town parade…

Save Sunday night for a unique SF experience — Opera at the Ballpark. This year, the end of summer tradition is trying something new with a daytime simulcast. That’s right, (hopefully) no more evening chill — Puccini’s Turandot, will start promptly at 2pm. We recommend getting there early and bringing a coat, just in case.
