Tacolicious Two Heads to the Mission

In just a few short months, Tacolicious (2031 Chestnut Street), the Marina’s Mexican hotspot, will open the doors to its newest location on 741 Valencia Street in the Mission. The popular eatery’s second home has been in the works since earlier in the year and is now finally starting to come together as they just secured a liquor license and unanimous approval from the city’s notorious Planning Commission last week. One of the most exciting new features of Tacolicious II promises to be the Mexican-inspired Margarita patio, encased in glass and enlivened by a colorful, culturally-themed mural. This elegant architectural add-on is supposed to evoke the feeling of lying on the green grass of Dolores Park on a sunny day in the Mission…while sipping on refreshing, tequila-laden cocktails.

If all this taco talk is getting you in the Mexican mood, don’t wait till Autumn–hit up the OG spot in the Marina tonight to revel in their trademark delicacies, such as the crispy-fresh Albacore tuna tostadas and the awe-inspiring guajillo braised short rib tacos.
