This California native has been garnering a lot of attention as of late, now that her highly awaited second album Ἀποκάλυψις, pronounced “apokalypsis,” comes out August 23rd. There’s really no adequate way to describe Chelsea’s vocals, as the first track opens with a snarl that slowly dissipates into smoky vocals. Playing a 3-month stint across the world playing cathedrals and even nuclear plants inspired her first album, Grime & the Glow. Her second album takes listeners to that dark place she is so well-known for, while showing how much she has grown in production.
