Doesn’t sound too appetizing, does it? Straw, is the name of a new carnival-themed restaurant set to open in the former J’s Pots of Soul location in Hayes Valley, i.e. the 101 Corridor on Octavia.

No word yet on when they’ll actually be opening, but they’re asking willing potential patrons to take a guess. The person with the closest date wins a free entree. Fun! You can drop off your votes through the mail-slot at the restaurant or just do it on-line.
