Culture Collide, the fest that brings emerging and undiscovered bands from across the globe to San Francisco and other US cities, arrives at the Swedish American Hall and DSF this week, get your tix here. The highly anticipated Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival comes to Golden Gate Park Friday thru Sunday with an impressive lineup and addition of a Silent Disco with local DJs performing rare bluegrass-inspired sets. Supergroup The Word featuring Robert Randolph, John Medeski and North Mississippi Allstars take over The Fillmore for 2 nights and Dead fans prepare for another 2 day takeover at The Regency starring Dark Star Orchestra. If all-you-can-drink sake gets you excited grab a tiny cup and head to The Armory on Saturday for Sake Day. Peaches Rub Tour lands at Mezzanine on Saturday, her latest video with comedian Margaret Cho has the internet buzzing.
