The concert program will include Casella: Pupazzetti; Nakagoshi: Synaesthesia (2012); Schubert: Fantasy in f-minor; Stravinsky: 3 Movements from Petrushka; Nicholas Pavkovic: Chimaera (arr. 2012); and Dukas: The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
The Grammy-nominated and prize-winning Steinway Artist ensemble, the San Francisco based ZOFO Duet is one of only a handful of duos worldwide devoted exclusively to piano duets. ZOFO is for its bold exploration and commission of new works from noted composers and its rediscovery of hidden gems of the traditional one piano, four-hands repertoire with a strong dedication to 20th and 21st Century works.
