Zen Zenith

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Redwood City/San Francisco-based contemplative singer-songwriter Zen Zenith is leaving the Bay Area for Los Angeles, and this Friday will be his final local performance before he hits the road. This month, Zenith has been commemorating the move with weekly shows at Red Rock Coffee in Mountain View. At this Friday's farewell show, the former front man of Please Do Not Fight will play Weezer's entire self-titled debut (The Blue Album), backed by Jared Milos and Ramon Esquivel of Mountain View indie-soul outfit, Dogcatcher. A major part of the Bay Area scene for years (he's served as manager of Picture Atlantic and hosted a songwriting podcast) Zenith will be missed. One-woman ukulele looping project Kitten Grenade opens the show. (Aaron Carnes)
