Temple Present Zen Freeman
Since age 13, Zen Freeman has been behind a pair of decks. After a lifetime of record spinning, knob turning, passion pursuing and perfecting the lost art of genuine music mixing, Zen has become a DJ and curator for some of the world's top publications and fashion giants including Gucci, Prada, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Giorgio Armani, Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger. He's served as music supervisor for global luxury brands like Cartier, Louis XIII and Soho House and has become the go-to DJ for some of the world's most exclusive clientele, including Sundance, the Academy Awards, and Cannes Film Festival, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Elton John and Elon Musk.
Zen's work extends far beyond closed-door private events. Zen landed a two-year residency at Hakkasan & Wet Republic in 2015. In 2017, Freeman joined the ranks of the residents at the prestigious XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Resort in Vegas alongside some of the biggest DJ's in the dance music scene today: Skrillex, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, David Guetta, Diplo, the Chainsmokers, RL Grime and more.
As a producer, Zen releases on some of electronic music's top labels including Calvin Harris' Fly Eye Recordings, Armada Music, Rising Music, Magik Musik and his productions have seen support from DJ giants like David Guetta, Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair and superstar Calvin Harris. This year, Zen has scheduled an arsenal of amazing collaborations with some of the best dance music has to offer. The first single, Stars ft. Macy Gray, came out on UK's dance label Defected Records to great critical acclaim.
In Summer 2017, Zen Freeman co-founded a brand new luxury festival, RHA, on the beautiful Riviera Nyatt in the stunning Punta Mita Resort. Along with his co-founders, Zen built a festival from the ground up, booking international superstar DJs like Green Velvet, Claptone, Purple Disco Machine and Dimitri from Paris among others, garnering acclaim from MixMag, Thump, Cool Hunting and Dancing Astronaut.
