Joan Gelfund is the author of three acclaimed poetry collections, an award-winning chapbook of short fiction and a forthcoming novel set in a Silicon Valley startup. She is the recipient of over twenty awards, honors and commendations. A member of the National Book Critics Circle and a judge for the Northern California Book Awards, Joan has served as President of the Women’s National Book Association. She has an MFA from Mills College and lives in San Francisco.
