Since moving to San Francisco in ’85 to pursue a career in music, he has performed throughout the Bay Area and has toured across both the United States and Canada. While known for his blues and R&B, Takezo began venturing into music that is not so easily categorized. Combining Japanese with American roots music, he developed his latest album, A Boy from Lion Street.
