Wreckless Strangers Live at Peri’s w/ Pardon the Interruption

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Wreckless Strangers, Bay Area Americana troubadours noted for their prolific songwriting and energetic live shows, are set to play the newly re-opened Peri's in downtown Fairfax on Friday, April 8. Peri's is a true original and one of Marin County's most beloved live music venues. Closed since the pandemic began, Peri's opened its doors to the public on March 17.

The Wreckless Strangers recently released "Ain't No Thing," the second single from their forthcoming album, When the Sun and a Blue Star Collide. Scheduled for release on May 20, the album was produced by GRAMMY-winning and nine-time Juno Award-winner Colin Linden. Penned by Chris Stapleton and John Scott Sherrill, and originally recorded by Bucky Covington, "Ain't No Thing" was a song the band was eager to make their own when they first heard Wynnona & The Big Noise perform it at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. The Sound Cafe premiered "Ain't No Thing'' recently. Complimenting the Wreckless Strangers' natural ability to stretch musical boundaries, "The Wreckless Strangers' music echoes their California Americana beginnings, while exploring endless combinations of the unique qualities of rock, country, soul and roots." (The Sound Cafe)
