Community Women’s Orchestra (CWO) hosts a musical celebration of Wonder Women, celebrating the musical accomplishments of CWO members, who will be on hand to perform chamber works at this concert-in-a-party.
Guests will be treated to champagne, wines, and a sumptuous spread of snacks. They will be invited to circulate during performances, and choose silent auction items on which to bid: local restaurant certificates, pro sports team tickets, spa packages, and more.
A live auction will also take place, featuring a South African safari and a wine country private plane tour. All donations are tax-deductible and will help CWO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
CWO Members and their music director, Dana Sadava, are proud to carry on a 30-plus year mission as the Bay Area’s only volunteer, all-female orchestra, committed to promoting women's orchestral music in a fun and welcoming environment. Community outreach plans for the next season include a concerto competition for Bay Area female student musicians and commissioning area women composers’ works for performances.
