ABOUT YOUR HOSTHi, I'm Kara! I am a registered holistic nutritionist, trained chef, personal trainer (almost), reiki level ll practitioner and world traveler. This is probably obvious but I am super passionate about the power and healing potential of food. I love exploring the mind body spirit and beyond connection. The beyond stands for the connection we have to the universe, nature, each other etc. I truly believe we have the capacity to create and be anything we dream and desire and I love supporting others while they turn their dreams into their reality. I've recently been exploring emotional root causes of disease and am exploring my own through explorative dance. This usually looks like me dancing in my house like a wild woman to all genres of music (rap to mantras). I'm also working on my "gains" in the gym these days and grounding myself with a meditation practice I am continually focussing and working on. I joined the quilt community because now more than ever is a great time to come together as woman, support each other, learn from each other and love each other.

WHAT'S A QUILT CHAT? A one hour pre- or post-work chat, facilitated by a woman out of her home. Meet up to 10 new women, and connect over a thought-provoking conversation. WHAT CAN I EXPECT?Once you RSVP, you’ll receive address, parking instructions, and contact info for your host.Please arrive on time out of respect for other guests! Your host will guide a facilitated discussion on this month’s theme. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to follow up and connect with the new women you’ve met. If you’d like to bring a friend, please share this gathering’s link for them to RSVP.
