About Susana Pineda
From an early age, Susana showed signs of an artistic and creative mind. Her upbringing in Colombia gave her a foundation of color, song, and dance, as is reflected by the festive culture of Medellín. After taking a masterclass from American vocal teacher, Madeline Eastman, Susana decided to go to the United States to continue her jazz studies. Susana is now a graduate of the California Jazz Conservatory where she was able to study with musicians such as Marcos Silva, John Santos, Dann Zinn, Theo Bleckmann, Kai Eckhardt, Jeff Denson, Jackie Rago, Laurie Antonioli, Sandy Cressman and more. In 2016, Susana released her first album with one of her music projects, Opaluna, a modern jazz duo with highly acclaimed Bay Area guitarist, Luis Salcedo. Opaluna's debut album was released under the Ridgeway Records record label and inaugurated the Rising Stars program of the non-profit organization, Ridgeway Arts. To premier their album debut, Opaluna toured throughout Colombia and the United States. Susana is now soon to release her second album with her new project: Susana Pineda & The New Quartet.

About Lilan Kane
Lilan Kane is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Oakland, CA. She released her album Love, Myself to a sold-out crowd at Yoshi's Jazz Club. Her vintage-tinged soul sound flows through the heartfelt compositions, telling stories of love, loss, and self-discovery while they seamlessly blend R&B, funk, pop, and jazz. The Berklee College of Music alum recently performed in New Orleans at the French Quarter Festival and graced the Yoshi's stage again, this time with the dynamic Cosa Nostra Strings. They also performed at Undercover Presents: A Tribute to the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Other notable performances include the Fillmore Jazz Festival, San Jose Winter Jazz Fest, Great American Music Hall, Sweetwater Music Hall, The Mint LA, the Whisky A Go-Go, among others. She has opened for Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Sharon Jones, Trombone Shorty, and Morgan James. She performs throughout the US and abroad with her original music, and also with her vintage jazz + R&B band, Hella Fitzgerald. An avid educator, she teaches has developed several vocal programs at San Domenico School in Marin County and co-founded the award-winning Own The Mic Summer Singing camp. She coordinates and produces video shoots, recording sessions, photo shoots, music coordination for events and weddings, and music performance and business master classes throughout the Bay Area

About Amy D.
San Jose native, Amy Dabalos has established herself as a mainstay in the Bay Area music scene. Dabalos possesses a unique mutability that complements the various styles she explores as a vocalist on the bandstand. Her voice is both powerful and luminescent: imbued with influence from legends Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson. Elements of soul, R&B, and popular music decorate her distinctive repertoire, as inspired by contemporary artists Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding, and Lianne La Havas. At a young age, Amy was inspired by the creative power of music while a student in the Alum Rock Jazz Program. Her love of singing led to classical studies and operatic training at Chapman University Conservatory of Music in Southern California. Dabalos has been a featured artist throughout the Bay Area, including City Lights Theater, Cafe Stritch, Studio Grand Oakland, Cafe Pink House, 1300 on Fillmore, and the Continental Bar & Lounge. Most recently, she presented a specifically-constructed project, comprised of some of the most acclaimed local jazz talents at the 2016 San Jose Jazz Summer Fest.
