FEATURING:

Carlie Mari
Azuah
Hazel Rose

Carlie Mari Music
Born and raised in Los Angeles, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Carlie Mari has been writing music since she was thirteen years old. Her song, "Share Your Loving" won an Honorable Mention at the 2015 Songdoor Songwriting Competition and won third place at the 2016 Indie International Songwriting Competition.

Azuah
Azuah’s music weaves roots in alternative folk and soul with a poet's sensibility and an unforgettable voice to create an infectious sound all her own. A Bay Area native, she has played all over the West Coast from the Roxy in Los Angeles to stages in Oakland and San Francisco. Known for her evocative lyrics and haunting melodies, Azuah captures the listener’s ear from first note to last strum with a sound that can only come from the depths of an old soul.

Hazel Rose
Hazel Rose is a lyricist and singer from San Francisco. Growing up in the Bay Area, she was inspired by its history of social movements and dynamic arts scene from a young age. Since elementary school she wrote her own songs and became drawn to complex lyricism, ranging from Outkast to Joni Mitchell. In high school, she began to explore performance art, spoken word poetry and community engagement through arts education. By the age of 18, she had joined Hip Hop group 40Love alongside Mikos da Gawd and The Whooligan, releasing 3 albums and opening up for artists like Dead Prez and MC Lyte. Her departure from the group began her journey as a solo artist, and her sound transformed to combine live electronica and soul along with signature raw lyricism. Her message is one of humanism, vulnerability and spiritual empowerment. Her mixtape “The 5th Element” and new music videos “Fake President” and “Never Land” released in January 2018, and her EP "A Lover's War" is set to release Summer 2018.

About WomenCrush Music:
#WomenCrush Music is a non-profit organization that serves to create opportunities for rising women songwriters by hosting international showcases, educational workshops & networking events. Whether they are just in the beginning of their careers and want to start performing at local venues, or they’ve just released their second album and are ready to go on tour. #WomenCrush Music wants to connect artists with future collaborators, educate them about the business and inspire them to make an impact on this male-dominated industry.

It was founded in January 2017, when Ashley Kervabon saw a need to build a stronger community amongst women in the music industry in Portland, OR. When the first showcase was a success, Ashley reached out to women in her online music communities to see if any other cities had ongoing showcase series for women artists. It was then that she realized there was a void that needed to be filled and she started her expansion by bringing the showcase series to her hometown of NYC. By fall of 2017 #WomenCrush had grown dramatically, including several new team members and many more new cities to launch in 2018, such as, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, San Francisco, San Jose, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Missoula!
