Who Shot Vincent? First Friday in Woodside

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Woodside Town Hall (see times)
An exploration of the artist's life and paintings as well as the mystery of his untimely death.
Come join The Woodside Arts and Culture committee for our next First Friday on Sept. 6th! Local Artist Jim Caldwell will present a slide show about the fascinating life and mysterious death of Vincent Van Gogh. Virtually unknown during his life time, Vincent is now one of the most cherished artists in the entire history of
art. Many consider him to be the father of Modern Art. His use of color, heavy pigmentation, and abstractions introduced us to a whole new way of looking at the world. Although most believe that he
committed suicide, new facts have come to light which challenge that notion. This presentation includes over 50 of Vincent's beautiful paintings.
Our events are always complementary, as well as our refreshments (including wine!). The event starts at 7 pm, but come a bit earlier to secure a seat. For more information about us, please visit: https://woodsideartandculture.org/
