Ever imagined a sculpture could be alive? Across the evening, sculptor Peter Sun will build a living botanical sculpture onstage -- pausing between gestures to discuss his origins, the story of his artistic journey, his work with Arion, and more. The talk and the making braid together: a few minutes of story, then a turn to the piece, then back again, until a final gesture completes it. The audience meanders through these stories with Peter as a living sculpture becomes itself in front of them.
The talk will be 45 minutes followed by a 15 minute Q&A. A reception will follow in the Arion Press Gallery.
