What Are You Hungry For? An Embodied Exploration for Knowing What You Really Want

SEE EVENT DETAILS
We're all trying to "figure it out" we know that can be daunting. This workshop is designed to help you experience and learn practices for getting more in touch with yourself so you can feel better about your decisions (both big and small - whether it's what to have for dinner, how to manage chronic pain, or what career is right for you!) and to know with more ease and clarity what you really want and need.

If you ever feel lost, uncertain, like you or just want to know yourself and your body better, we invite you to come drop into your body - the seat of intuition and inner knowing - and explore with us how to sense what actually feels good and right for you, from the inside out.

Body meets mind, in real time.

How DO you know what you really want? There's a lot of noise - and "shoulds" - out there. Test drive a set of tools and practices for knowing and trusting yourself, that you can take with you into every realm of your life - whether you're deciding what to eat for dinner, or what your next career should be.

We invite you to come play, taste, be curious, move, have fun, go deep, connect and be empowered!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
A fun, spacious, centering space with other curious souls for learning more about ourselves and how to tune into and read our own inner barometers! We'll spend time turning inwards and also sharing so we can connect and learn with and from each other.

- Yoga - A mindful practice for about 30 minutes, good for all levels of experience. What feels good and right in your body (and how to know and work with feedback from your body)?

- Mindful Tasting - What does hunger feel like? Taste various snacks (yay food!) to sense into and notice "yeses" and "nos" in the body.

- Thoughtful Journaling - Use prompts and though-provoking quotes to explore where you are hungry or have inner knowings (and unknowns) in other realms of your life. What ah-ha's and practices do you want to take with you?

- Sharing & Connecting - We'll group share around the journaling prompts as a way to see other perspectives and ideas, and to connect in our mutual humanness.

- Breathwork Practice - Complete with a quick and easy practice to center and ground, so you can feel in-touch with yourself and your inner knowing.

YOUR GUIDES:
Kerstin Phillips is a Life Coach & Yoga Instructor, E-RYT 200 living in Berkeley, California with her daughter, husband, and kitties, Pesto & Tacocat. Kerstin guides women and non-binary folx out from the shadows so they can embrace their true selves, feel confident in their decisions, and define their purpose, because everyone is valuable and no one deserves to be overlooked. She loves to journal, read, do all things yoga, and hike in Tilden.

Alex Mart is a Craniosacral Therapy Bodyworker, and Wellness Coach, trained in yoga, many forms of dance, and trauma-informed touch therapy. Alex helps highly sensitive people and those with chronic tension and pain to explore and heal around what it means to feel fully alive in the body through the senses. She loves dancing, cooking from scratch, hiking to the top of hills, and peak season fresh fruit.
