Join us for 4 days — yes you heard right, 4 DAYS — of improvised musical magic as troupes from around the world come together in San Francisco for our 4th Annual West Coast Musical Improv Fest!
Friday 7pm show lineup:
LimboLand (New York, NY): LimboLand. One man. Four chairs. Unlimited characters. LimboLand is a one man tour-de-force. Veteran actor/improvisor T.J. Mannix plays every role in a completely improvised, music-fueled show. Whether dueting with himself or playing eight family members at the same time, T.J. mines the humor, passion,and dark sides that make us irresistible. At the mercy of Music Director James Rushin, any character can be forced to skillfully break into song.
Tryangle (San Diego, CA): Musical Improv like you've never seen before! Tryangle creates unique musical improv with big characters, an a capella opening and a twist - there is no accompanist! Tryangle makes all the music for themselves. Three performers. One guitar!
Creatures of Impulse (Pleasanton, CA): Pleasanton, California’s award-winning teen improv troupe Creatures of Impulse presents “Tri-Valley High: The Musical,” a totally improvised teen musical featuring a cast of high school age improvisers. Watch as the young improvisers tell the story of their people based on your suggestions through improvised song.
