After two wonderfully successful years, Un-Scripted Theater Company® is proud to present the third annual West Coast Musical Improv Festival! From July 19th-22nd, the Bay Area will be host to 13 of the best musical improv acts from around the country. Among others, we’ll be featuring national acts like hip-hop troupe A Tribe Called Yes (Seattle), improv karaoke band Surprise Inside (LA), post-apocalyptic Dystopia! The Musical! (Seattle), and a cappella improvisors Pitch, Please (LA). We’ll also feature SF-based favorites like Anthony Veneziale and Vivek Venugopal in American Immigrants, improvised opera with Operavised, 1940s jazz players All That Jazz!, and -- for the very first time -- a musical version of the acclaimed show Speechless! In addition to exciting shows, the West Coast Musical Improv Festival will be holding musical improv workshops for performers and enthusiasts at all levels, in a variety of genres, from extreme beginner to seasoned pro.

Then this show is for you, as Olivia Puerta and Emily Markoe combine their love of opera and improv to bring you a montage of improvised scenes, all sung in an operatic style. Come see La Spazzatura improvise & sing EVERY SINGLE note.
Speechless: The MusicalSince 2013 Speechless has been selling out shows at comedy clubs and conferences all over the country and the world. Armed only with a laser pointer and a deck of random slides, presenters ranging from stand up comedians to software engineers and Tony Award winners to TED presenters have put their talents to the test in the ultimate improvisational gauntlet, giving a presentation that they've never seen before. Fusing technology with comedy, Speechless is the entertainment experience for the Web 2.0 world. Speechless is joining the musical improv world to bring a one-of-a-kind experience which can only be complete with input from the audience and a presenter with no prior knowledge of the subject matter.
