We're All in the Dance: Songs of Love, Loss, and Merrymaking

“We’re All in the Dance,” Songs of Love, Loss, and Merrymaking, Saturday, Sept 14, at 7:30 pm, First Presbyterian San Anselmo, 72 Kensington Rd 94960. What do Purcell, Arbeau, “Anonymous,” Wailin Jennys, Lennon-McCartney, and Fats Waller have in common? Come find out! Duets, quartets, and more of exquisite Renaissance and Baroque music with Marin Baroque singers & friends: Linda Price (soprano), Monica Frame (alto), Carl Boe (tenor), and Fred Goff (bass). Accompanist is Melody Nishinaga. The program will be preceded by a set of songs by the guitar-and-vocals duo Firefly (Robin Truitt and Linda Price). Program will also include a few jazz songs or maybe a surprise or two…! The concert will benefit Marin Baroque. Tickets: $25/general, free for 18-and-under.
