Market Street Arts is hosting a free art event. Our free craft workshops are the perfect artsy excuse to put down your phone and pick up some art in Mid-Market. Join us at Rise Over Run, the beautiful rooftop bar at the Timbri Hotel, to hand craft your own leather bag charms. Grab a beverage, some leather working tools, and socialize with fellow crafters.
We've partnered with Workshop SF and artist Jennifer Laursen (tiltleather) to provide everything you need: materials, inspiration, and instruction. Choose from spring-themed butterflies, trees or hearts and decorate with acrylic pens. It's the perfect way to add a personal touch to your favorite bag. Jen has been teaching leatherwork around the bay area for 13 years and now co-owns a workshop space in Vallejo called The Exchange. Grab a drink, socialize with fellow artists and crafters, and channel your inner leather-worker.
