About The Music - Oakland brings you "WAVEFORMS VI" dance party, boat cruise, on the SF Bay!
It's boat party time once again! This will be our 2017 opener and we are very excited! These are always a blast! All aboard for some good times once again, on a beautiful boat cruise over the Bay Area waters, while we get our dance on to some great house music (disco, classics, soul, rare, deep, afro), meet, greet, dance, vibe with good folks, enjoy the sunset, see the many wonderful surrounding sights, travel under the bridges, and enjoy this wonderful excursion of the SF Bay!

A lil about our special guest, Kenny Summit.. With over 25 top 10 releases in the past 2 years, Kenny Summit has become a crowd favorite in the house music landscape. His fresh approach to producing proper house with a classic underground sensibility caught the eye of house legends Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper, now mentors and partners with Kenny on numerous projects including the biggest underground anthem of 2014 “Brawls Deep” (soon to be released on Kenny’s imprint Good For You Records).Known for not only his prolific discography, Kenny Summit continues to increase his fan base with his incredibly entertaining DJ sets. There are big parking lots in the Jack London Square area, close to our departing place, and public parking on the streets, but can be busy with the many restaurants and shops in the area so please prepare. Coming early is highly recommended to situate yourselves, avoid any stress, grab a drink, and a bite to eat in this beautiful Jack London Square area while you're waiting.
*Boat "departing" location will be:> 1 Broadway Street, Oakland, Ca 94607 <(in the Jack London Square area of Oakland, at the very 'end' of "Broadway" Street. *Directly behind "Lungomare restaurant" as another reference. GPS this restaurant also, if needed.
*Boat "returns" at 10pm.
*Please remember to bring your PHOTO ID's to be checked thru security and please have your ticket print-out in hand or on your phone, ready to show the bar-code scan/s confirmation, at the boat. *If you have bought multiple tickets, please have these persons with you on arrival, to avoid confusion at the boat. This is a 21+ event.

About the boat: "Bay Celebrations" is a locally owned, double-decked riverboat style vessel powered by twin engines. The boat is wheelchair accessible and features 2 full bars and indoor/outdoor areas. The boat moves slowly for maximum comfort and will tour the lovely waters of the SF Bay with viewings of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz. This boat capacity is 150 people.
--> Please eat before boarding, alcohol on an empty stomach is no bueno! There will many beverages (water, alcohol, soda, juice, etc.) sold at the bars. We strongly suggest bringing long pants & a warm jacket as it can get chilly & windy during the evening hours, especially out on the deck. See you soon and let's have some fun!
