Layz
Rzrkt
Hexx
Crystal Dabs
The fact that a female DJ/producer is still rare enough to cause a stir is no surprise, but Layz (real name Leyla Ali) is here to slay and she it's easy to see she'll accomplish that goal! Clean production and heavy bangers make every set unbelievably fun - not to mention Layz earns a spot on any cardio workout playlist. She quickly rose from an unknown to a hot name during the pandemic, honing her bass music production skills and playing livestreams and drive ins until the world was ready for her. At first she was just a DJ - but soon LAYZ started producing her own tracks much to the delight of EDM fans everywhere. As with many females in almost any aspect of entertainment, some folks threw hate her way and even questioned the authenticity of LAYZ production work. Of course she ignored the haters and focused on thee work (aka crushing sound design). Now, with millions of streams, and some big festival sets (Bass Canyon and Lost Lands just to name a few!) under her belt, she's a true dub god headliner with a huge and heavy sound and more than enough energy to keep the dance floor moving during her live set.
