SEE EVENT DETAILS
Date and Time: Thursday, January 12th Doors open at 8:30pm
Location: Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell St. San Francisco, CA 94102

FREE, All ages

Local Sirens is a free, quarterly performance series featuring incredible local women musicians and performers. This time, Local Sirens will feature Bay Area favorites:

Plush - SF sob rock. "Plush are a new four-piece from San Francisco that play guitar driven pop music with angsty undertones. Their music harkens back to when SF had a thriving garage scene, but taps into the elements of shoegaze that a lot of newer bands have been experimenting with – overloaded guitars and reverberating bends..." Bay Bridged
Check out their dreamy video for "Sheer Power"

Tanukichan (solo set) - Hannah van Loon is an Oakland-based musician who grew up playing classical violin, but picked up guitar along the way to accommodate her growing love for rock music. Van Loon has played in various Bay Area bands, most notably Trails and Ways. Working as a carpenter to pay the bills, she spends most of her time on various woodworking projects and making music. Tanukichan is her first solo project, a post-punk powergaze into van Loon’s mind.
Company Records head Chaz Bundick (Toro Y Moi, Les Sins) produced and recorded Tanukichan's debut EP, Radiolove.

Rayana Jay - Rayana Jay is a multi-talented singer and songwriter from Richmond, CA. At 22 years old, Rayana Jay creates forward-thinking R&B and alternative soul music, boasting soft vocals that contrast with honest lyrics about relationships, love, and friends. The Bay Area raised singer's influences span from the Organized Noize production crew and classic Bay Area sounds to the raw emotions of Amy Winehouse and the sultry tones of Anita Baker.
Check out her debut album "Sorry About Last Night"

Siri - Dubbed the 'trippy princess', SIRI was born and raised in Oakland, CA, often drawing inspiration from her hometown. Her chilling voice rap-singing over lo-fi ethereal beats will definitely leave you feeling like you're tripped out on a floating castle. Growing up influenced by the rich diversity in her community and by the musical feats of her father, SIRI started writing and recording her own songs as a way to embrace her differences and express herself freely.
Now at 19 years old, SIRI has released over a dozen tracks, packed out several shows in the Bay Area. Her new E.P. Gloe just came out - check it.

Come support and enjoy incredible local music and women artists - free admission! This is an all ages show.

Local Sirens is made possible through support from California Arts Council, Zellerbach Family Foundation, and Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation. Come spend your evening with WAM and enjoy free live music!
