Drummer and bandleader, Wally Schnalle, has been a staple of the Bay Area live jazz scene for over two decades. He began his career recording with Francis Wong before releasing his own solo album in 1994. Leading bands since 1989, Wally Schnalle is also an active teacher in the Bay Area, as well as an accomplished journalist for DRUM! magazine. During his career, he has headlined many concerts throughout Northern California and made appearances at many music festivals.
