Ivy Room presents three band on Saturday February 28th. Doors at 7pm, start at 8pm with Von Doodle Daddies, the Recyclists, and Angelo Tomandl & Omigato.
VON DOODLE DADDIES 8PM
Hailing from the foggy hills of San Francisco, Von Doodle Daddies is an old school rock and roll group with a new global purview. Born out of the isolation of a global pandemic, a world in which artist need to speak up, and the shared belief that music heals, this band of life-long rockers is ready to break out, with cause, from the depths of a studio and into the public eye.
THE RECYCLISTS 9PM
The Recyclists' groove is location based. Let them lead you down the west coast of a grand land mass, near a giant ocean, on a blue ball in a black ocean, somewhere in time. They are driven by a love of horn lines, and a grand desire to funk it up. They feature all-original tunes and an East Bay vibe that keeps the crowd moving and the fun flowing. The full lineup includes: Stace Wright on vocals & guitar, Diana Niemoeller on vocals, Steve Healey on drums, Anthony May on bass, Larry Stewart on tenor and bari sax, Erik Vertz on trumpet, Steve Gibson on tenor sax & guitar, plus Jake Scheps on keyboard a& backing vocals.
OMIGATO "PERUVIAN PSYCHEDELIC FUNK" 10:30pm
Angelo Tomandl, the Peruvian musician virtuoso now thriving in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, orchestrates a melodic symphony with his mastery of harmonicas, intricate guitar melodies, and groovy basslines. Leading the charge with Omigato, a band celebrated for infusing serious music with an energetic, entertaining flair.
