Interview with Robert Mealy, Director of Historical Performance at Julliard
Robert Mealy talks about his wide ranging experiences in Early Music performance, which includes medieval, renaissance, baroque and beyond.
A Juilliard faculty member and a professor at Yale since 2009, Robert Mealy (baroque violin) has lectured and taught historical performance workshops at Columbia, Brown, Rutgers, Oberlin, and U.C. Berkeley. He now directs the baroque ensemble Quicksilver, and is also a member of the King's Noyse and the Medieval quartet Fortune's Wheel. Mr. Mealy has more than 80 recordings on most major labels.
